In the BePro Listings options you can set what the Category Heading is. This works great on the Listing Filters and displays properly, but on the listing detail and submit listing pages it seems to ignore this setting and just displays the default “Categories”. Is there a way to fix this so they all display the heading I’ve configured in options?
Thanks.

Are you using any other plugins like the Form Builder?

Thanks.

The Form Builder category label overrides the BePro Listings settings in this case

BePro Software TeamJune 18, 2015 at 6:15 pm #5930JimMemberI didn’t notice that. So I updated the form in FormBuilder so the categories label is “Features”. The label changed on the listing detail but the submit a list still shows the default “Categories” label.
Thanks.

Can you confirm if the form you updated is the same as the form that’s on the “submit a listing” page?

BePro Software TeamJune 19, 2015 at 2:44 am #5938JimMemberHi,
Yes, I only have 1 form. I tried moving the categories section to the bottom and confirmed the change showed up on the front page. But it still has the header “Categories” rather than the custom label I provided in form builder.
Thanks.
June 19, 2015 at 3:09 am #5939JimMemberAlso, for some reason when I edit a listing the Custom Form Field section in admin no longer shows the form drop-down. It’s just an empty section. It’s there when I add a listing. So there is no way to tell what form an existing listing is using and no way to change it. I looked in the database and don’t see where the listing is associated to the form id.
Thanks.
June 19, 2015 at 10:45 am #5940BePro Software TeamKeymasterHi,
Thanks for your patience and help with troubleshooting the issue. We have been able to replicate it and a fix will be released in the next form builder version. The label you place in the form builder will be the one that shows up. If you have “BePro Software Updates” installed, you will be able to update from your wordpress plugin admin panel when the new version is released. We hope to release a new version monday.
Once you associate a listing, its not changeable by anyone. This allows you to integrate posts that were created while the Form Builder was not installed. The association info is stored in the Form Builder database table. Some control will be added when we upgrade the form builder to work with packages. Although a priority, this advancement is still a few weeks out.

BePro Software TeamJuly 6, 2015 at 12:35 pm #6086JimMemberHi,
Did this fix ever get implemented? I have the BePro Updates plug-in installed and have not received any notification of an update to Form Builder.
Thanks,
JimJuly 6, 2015 at 12:47 pm #6087BePro Software TeamKeymasterHi Jim,
Yes, this was fixed. You will need the latest version of “BePro Software Updates”. Once that’s installed, it now requires that you add your BeProSOftware.com username and password into its new admin page. This is required to confirm your license is still active.
No one receives update notifications anymore without this new setup. We talk about it in the following blog post. If you aren’t subscribed to our newsletter, you can sign up via the form in the sidebar

BePro Software TeamJuly 6, 2015 at 1:05 pm #6091JimMemberHi,
I already had the latest updates plug-in. I just put in my credentials but I still don’t see any updates. Is there a delay? Is there something I need to do to refresh the updates?
Thanks,
JimJuly 6, 2015 at 6:53 pm #6097JimMemberI just tried uninstalling and re-installing the updates plug-in. No luck. I’ve tried updating credentials about 3 times. No luck. Verified my credentials are correct by logging out and back in to the web site. My license is only a few weeks old. So I don’t see why it’s not working.
One weird thing is sometimes I will see additional updates at the top of the page and next to the plug-ins menu option. But then when I go to the updates page suddenly the number of updates drops and no BePro plug-ins are listed. It’s like it sees the extra updates when updating the header and menu, but then those updates go away when I got to the updates or plugins page.
Thanks,

You should confirm if you have the latest version installed. Ultimately, if you are having issues accessing upgrades, you can always download the latest version from your My Accounts page
