Hi, I just updated the BePro Listings plugin and it whipped out the work I did in the backend. CSS changes, Button Names, Map Location Tabs.
Will this happen every time?

Hi,
Yes, you should never alter core plugin files. Css should always be completed in a child theme. For developers, we offer many ways of overriding php functions via wordpress hooks and filters.

Okay, I will need to figure out how to do this. There are some things that need to be changed in the project such as the things shown in the images before the updates.
I definitely understand your need for permanent alterations. If you have not created a child theme as yet, start there. Then place all customizations in your child theme. That way you never loose your changes. This process should be well documented on wordpress.org. Here is an article to get you started.
