This is a very cool plugin. I really like the modular design. I will give it a high rating it in the near future. I have been testing it out a bit, trying to get the basic functionality in place. I am working on making a stripped-down classified ads site, similar to Craigslist, in Spanish, optimized for mobile. The URL of the website is http://grangaraje.com. It is currently just a prototype.
Most of the basic BePro functionality worked for me, out-of-the-box. I can post new ads and upload images just fine. The Spanish translation worked automatically, without me having to do anything to set it up, which amazed me. However, I am having troubles with the BePro Listings Search Filter widget, which can be seen at http://grangaraje.com/buscar/. When I push the Search button, nothing happens. Any suggestions?
Also, I tried posting an ad from a mobile device (iPhone 4), and it didn’t seem to work. Feel free to post phantom ads to the grangaraje site to test it out if you want. Right now the site is in testing mode.
For formatting I am using a Child Theme, inheriting from the Twenty Twelve theme, to customize the formatting and to optimize for mobile. So far the changes to the Child Theme are minimal — mostly just moving the widget sidebar from the right side of the screen to the bottom of the screen.
I also have some questions about the Form Builder add-on. I read that it can be used to add different fields. But can it be used to REMOVE some of the default fields? Additionally, if I purchase the Form Builder add-on, and then an update is released, what are the terms for upgrading? Would I need to purchase it again?
Thanks, Matt

October 6, 2014 at 4:01 pm #2955BePro Software TeamKeymasterHi,
Thanks for the feedback
Regarding the search filter, do you have ajax search activated in the admin?
For the iphone4 issues, what exactly was the result? Did the form confirm if there was an error or successful submission?
Yes, the form builder can be used to remove fields from the form. You have unlimited downloads for a year. You should anticipate several more upgrades to the form builder addon before year end. The hope is that everyone running BePro Listings will seriously consider getting this addon.

BePro Software TeamOctober 7, 2014 at 3:13 am #2969mattlemmonMemberHi, thanks for the response.
The iPhone4 issue was my own error. I was outsmarted by the form validation.
With regard to the Search Filter widget, the following image demonstrates my Ajax settings.
And the following image shows what the Search Filter looks like on my website:
The date calendar drop-downs work fine. The ‘Search’ button is grayed out, and when I click on it nothing happens. When I click on the ‘Clear’ button, it clears the fields correctly. The javascript console doesn’t reflect any errors or console log messages or anything. The javascript console is just blank.
With regard to Form Builder, free upgrades for a year sounds pretty reasonable. I will go ahead and purchase it and try it out. My personal plan is to do a fair amount of php and css customization. I will post separately with technical questions about customization after I am able to spend a little more time studying the code and reviewing the documentation. That being said, if there are any “best practices” for customization, or a simple tutorial for how to set up a “child plugin” (if such a thing exists) or anything like that, I would definitely appreciate any helpful links to get pointed in the right direction.
October 7, 2014 at 10:36 am #2982BePro Software TeamKeymasterHi,
We appreciate the screenshots. Our team is investigating the iphone 4 issues. Mobile compatibility is a high priority. Its not a feature of the plugin to grey out that button. Someone will update this post when we find a solution
Thanks for checking out the Form Builder. We look forward to any feedback you may have, in a separate post. Our goals for BePro Listings, include adding several new features on top of the form builder. So we need it to be rock solid. Any and all feedback is welcome including, errors, usability flaws, design issues, browser compatibility issues and feature recommendations. This addon spearheads features never before seen in form builders or directories. We need help from the community to shape its future.
We recently launched the documentation section of our website. Our initial goals were to get people excited about the software we sell and to jump on board. Developers are our next focus and you can anticipate both video and text based documentation targeted to helping you extend BePro Listings. We encourage and expect that developers will create their own addons and themes on this platform. We appreciate your patience as we release this stage of documentation over the coming weeks via our technical subscription model.

BePro Software TeamOctober 7, 2014 at 11:45 am #2983mattlemmonMemberHi, thanks for the response. The iPhone 4 issue is resolved. It was working fine. I just didn’t realize that the form validation was stopping me from proceeding. It was a pebcak.
I will look forward to hearing back about the grayed-out search button in the Search Filter widget. I get the same issue when I use the [search_form] shortcode (see screenshot below).
I have updated the grangaraje.com website to include separate pages for both the widget (Search Filter) and the shortcode (Search Form), in case the BePro developers want to look at it.
It seems like the BePro Listings plugin is at an exciting phase of development. It will be cool to see how things progress in the future. Right I am just trying to get the basic functionality in place for Gran Garaje, but I would like to beef it up with features in the future.
I will discuss the Form Builder separately. I look forward to trying it out.
Thanks again.
