Hey!
I’m trying to configure the “Find Listings” page on my website! Basically, this is a search form (the generic) all in one Search Form.
If you visit the “Find Listings” page of my site: http://rent-my-space.uk/listings/ you will see the grey screen saying “Sorry! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”
I assume I am using the wrong key? If so, where do I get the correct key from? What type of key am I looking for? Theres just so many!
Here’s what its asking me to choose from in the API Library!
Google Maps Android API
Google Maps SDK for iOS
Google Maps JavaScript API
Google Places API for Android
Google Places API for iOS
Google Maps Roads API
Google Static Maps API
Google Street View Image API
Google Maps Embed API
Google Places API Web Service
Google Maps Geocoding API
Google Maps Directions API
Google Maps Distance Matrix API
Google Maps Geolocation API
Google Maps Elevation API
Google Maps Time Zone APII’d really appreciate some help with this topic please!
Regards,

However, why when I actually search, for a specific location, does the map zoom out and show the whole of the world? It clears all the listings, zooms out, and shows the whole of the world. All listings from the map then go?

Lat/Long is displaying “YES” in the Listings Admin Panel.
However I can’t search by address, city, or postcode? It just zooms out and shows the whole map?!
January 24, 2017 at 12:23 am #8668BePro Software TeamKeymasterHi,
You should see a name and where search box. If that’s the case, then the where box will acceept address, city, or postcode submissions. What do you have set for your search distance?

BePro Software TeamJanuary 24, 2017 at 4:11 am #8669spencecMemberHi,
If you check this page: http://rent-my-space.uk/listings/ and try out the “Where” box, you will notice it does not search for address, city or postcode, it zooms out, and drops all the listings off the map. The same happens on the BePro Demo Site?
My current search distance is at: 50(mi) however to get it to work, I’ve tried all search distances, and none of them work! π
