Hi,
From the documentation it suggests it is possible to display specific categories as a list on a page. However I can’t work out how to achieve it.
The documentation refers to a numerical value for the categories, but they don’t seem to have a numerical value !
Some assistance would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Neil
Hi Neil,
If you are referring to displaying listings from a specific category, the yes this is possible. All categories in wordpress have an ID. There is lots of documentation for wordpress online which explains how to retrieve the category ID. If you are new to wordpress, we offer an intro to wordpress video series for our subscription members

Once you have figured out the category ID, you can use our shortcode builder or create the shortcode yourself. You would use the l_type option with the display_listings shortcode. This is explained in the following documentation

If you would like help with setup, consider purchasing an hour of product support. If you need help with more than this shortcode setup, contact us before purchasing
