Hi!
I created a form to submit and display educational links. I used the “blfb2c” form type and like te simplicity of it. I am struggling however with the following:If I click on the website link, I get page cannot be displayed, but if I open the URL from the item (detail listing page) then the URL opens perfectly. Please see image below
November 4, 2015 at 10:00 am #7370nanettedpMemberalso how can I open the website in a new tab or window? Currently it opens in the same browser window and I don’t want that – because don’t want users to move away from my site
November 4, 2015 at 10:33 am #7375BePro Software TeamKeymasterHi,
1) There is probably something wrong with the url you entered. Does your url start with http://www?
2) You can set the “How Links Open” options to “New Tab”. Its located in the BePro Listings->Options admin page and the search/listings tab

BePro Software TeamNovember 4, 2015 at 2:09 pm #7377nanettedpMemberNo, nothing wrong with the URL. It is not just with this listing it is with all of them. So it must be something else.
See image below, I have highlighted the URLs in red. First picture shows the URL below with mouse hovering over it. Second picture is the window that opened when I selected the privious picture’s website link and it opened with the error message. If you look at that URL, you will notice that it is the same URL as in picture 3 and 4, but the URL link in picture 3 and 4 is working perfectly – that is if you click on the URL link from the specific listing’s detail page

We have tracked the issue to the base BePro Listings plugin. You can anticipate seeing the fix released in the next plugin upgrade. A short term fix will be to remove the “http://” from the website urls.
Thanks for alerting us to this issue

BePro Software TeamNovember 29, 2015 at 4:54 pm #7555nanettedpMemberHi! Is there any news on this issue? As far as I can see the issue still persists after the new release.
I understand there is a workaround i.e to remove the Http in front of the URL, but it is not me that list the url’s but the user community and as a result there is a lot of errors creeping in.November 30, 2015 at 10:46 am #7556nanettedpMemberHi!
