We have our listings set to 20 but have many more than 20 listings.
We are using the shortocde [display_listings order_dir=2 show_paging]1. The shortcode is displaying the listings in descending order as it
should but is not showing paging? How do I fix this?2. The update 2.1.08 2014 says that you added this fix: “Filtered
Category now shows category name in heading instead of “Sub Category”
name”. However all of our Filtered Categories read “No Categories
Found Created.” and then the page displays the correct listings. How
is that? We are running version: 2.1.10site: http://www.fretbuzz.com/classifieds/

1. For paging to work, you need to set show_paging=1.
2. This is in fact an error affecting non ajax setups. It has been fixed in the latest released version 2.1.11.

[display_listings order_dir=2 show_paging=1]This still does not show pagination on the site though.

Unfortunately, that’s not something we are experiencing issues with. Try this
– Deactivate all other plugins, return to any of the base wordpress themes, does the issue persist?

BePro Software TeamMarch 24, 2014 at 5:26 pm #1558[email protected]ParticipantHi,
We deactivated all plugins except Buddypress and BePro Listings and still the pagination did not show. We then activated the twenty-fourteen theme instead of DynamiX and still no pagination. BTW, it has taken us two days to replace all our custom widget areas and sidebars because the method you had us try basically wiped all our custom work. Wish we would have know that and backup up our site first. I think there should be some type of warning before people try deactivating everything and switching themes. Anyway, so we are still stuck with no pagination. Please help.
Also, the last update that was pushed out correctly show the sub category heading but also displays the grey category box below the sub category heading. Its causing a weird layout and is redundant. How do we remove it? The grey category box never used to show in our subcategory listings until that update.March 24, 2014 at 6:06 pm #1559BePro Software TeamKeymasterHi,
I am sorry to hear about your data loss.
Regarding the paging, there is unfortunately nothing else we can recommend. I personally just tested it on a demo site (with and without ajax) with no problem. I then repeated the same test on a client’s custom site with the same result. I would recommend product support; However, our developers would end up doing the exact same steps that were recommended here. We have not received any other complains regarding this issue.
For the category section, I checked your website and its working fine. We try to use as little css as possible (except “all in one” shortcodes), for many reasons. I will recommend to the development team, that they consider adding some css for situations like yours. I can see another release scheduled within 48 hours. A fix may be in that release.

Ok, thanks for the photo.
Unfortunately, we have no plans to alter that feature and you cannot currently override it. We are working on adding more filters and hooks to the system; However, we haven’t gotten to the category feature yet.
Your best bet is to edit the files directly. Or look out for a future release with a filter in that category function. Then you can override it with your own template.
