Hi,
I’ve been submitting the listing form on our site for testing our database and the lat/lon seems to be working and then it doesn’t. I changed the query type to file_get_contents and that didn’t help. It also got the lat/lon for one location but didn’t for the next. Not sure what it could be. Thanks.
Hi,
If it works intermittently then there is little we can do. The switch between query type is usually useful in situations when one option isn’t working at all. That’s because of the limited php libraries avialable on shared servers.
What i suspect may be the issue, is the speed of your server, it’s really slow. This may cause it to not process the replies from google correctly. I suggest upgrading to a vps or dedicated server. Alternatively, you can try removing some of the other plugins which may be slowing down your site.
Ok I will try that thank you!
