DETAILS

The base BePro Listings search features are great but they can be improved. This addon addresses those aspects like search suggestions and better search matching. With this enhancement, you can anticipate

• More users utilizing the search features
• Better search result matches
• More page visits
• Higher customer retention and click through rates

Location suggestions are taken from the maps.google.com api. Once the user begins typing in an address, they are presented with various options. This is great for helping users enter real complete addresses, which improves our geo targeting search features

BePro Listings Location search results come from matching results in your database. These results are calculated using lat/lon mathematics with maps.google.com and your distance settings. This is ideal since any real address will work, allowing the plugin to scan your database for locations within the search distance. In addition to this stock feature, this search addon improves on the lat/lon matching feature by comparing partial addresses.

The name search works off of your stored BePro Listings data. With this search addon, your database is scanned for listings where the title contains the letters that were entered. It then returns all matches as suggestions for the user to select from.

There is also the new search links feature. Now with the [ bpl_search_links ] shortcode, you can showcase custom links you have created with a name, distance, location, and listing url. This is a great way to make sure users quickly search popular locations or places. Place the shortcode on any page or post.

Most recently, we created the ability to generate custom pages for each state in the US. This is great for SEO. You can customize the content that shows up on this page and even use BePro Listings shortcodes. Now you simply select the states you want to create, then add the text that will show up on the generated pages. Use the provided shortcodes like [state] to customize the content.

HOW TO SETUP

This is the easiest part. Install the addon and the features will be available on the front end of your website, anywhere you use our basic search features.

For the search links, you will notice a new “BPL Search Links” menu option under BePro Listings. There, you can manage your search links. Manage various pieces of content including:

• name of the listing
• location of the listing
• distance around listing
• url where you have setup the display_listings shortcode
