Hello, we really badly need your help. We want to create a listing system in our WP site.

When I try to Add a Listing (http://abc4restaurants.com/add-new-listing/), it does not appear in the Listing here: http://abc4restaurants.com/listings/

Your help is greatly appreciated. We want to develop the site and purchase more from BePro.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out.

One of our developers just tested the latest version of BePro Listings on our $1 wordpress theme bycater.ca. We confirmed that the “Add A Listings” system works 100%

Here are a few things you can try to alleviate any confusion.

    1. Post status – All submitted listings are set to pending in the admin. You must set the listing to “published” to see it on the front end
    2. Verify Submission – Verify that you see the message “Listing Successfully Saved” at the top of the submission form after clicking “Create Listing”. If no message is seen, there is a major error
    3. Plugin Version – Verify that you have the latest version of the plugin installed. At the time of writing this, its BePro Listings 2.0.84. We update the plugin very often

Hope this helps. If you are still experiencing issues, you should consider having one of our BePro Software Developers, look at your installation. Most issues can be diagnosed within 1hr and you can purchase support here:

Hello, thank you very much for the quick response. I now see it as necessary to have them approved first.

How about adding fields to the “add listing” page? Is there a way to add more boxes besides these? Can I delete other input boxes?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

Currently, the only way to add new input fields to the “Add a listing” page is via wordpress hooks (php code)

Our plugins are perfect examples of this. They add fields to the “Add a Listing” page, as well as other features like the search filter.

These hooks are not well documented. However, you can easily see them in the template files. You can use them like any other wordpress hook

In general, every layout aspect of BePro Listings has hooks including, listings, filter search, add a listings page, and the item page. There are also tons of hooks spread throughout the system to interface with various events like form saving.
