Our upgrades are progressing as planned, with the end goal being a stable and even more feature rich plugin. This version release tackles a few layout concerns that the community has outlined.
WHAT’S NEW
Our latest update focuses on providing you the user with more control over the front end display of listing pages and the form. Specifically, you should look for the following
- Place more info in tabs on details pages
- Place more info in the details page, which could remove the tabs altogether
- New category option for the front end form
With these new options, you have major new controls that can completely transform how users interact with your listings website. It also allows you to customize your layout to be unique.
HOW IT ALL WORKS
Controls are in the BePro Listings admin options page. There you will find that some options are now select boxes like the “Show Geo” option. Some options are completely new like “Show details”. These drop downs allow you to select if the info is shown and if it is, where its shown (tab/page).
In addition, you will now see an option to select between the check box category layout you are used to, or our new category select box option. This new option is a little better than a simple multi select box. Specifically, this select box has a search feature, making it easy to find categories in especially long lists. The selected categories are easily viewed and removed if necessary. All of the management features also remain like, excluded and required categories
CONCLUSION
We heard you. Customers stated that they wanted more control over the layout of details pages and the front end form. This new version provides you with these capabilities. Now you can improve the layout of various BePro Listings aspects, to better match the needs of your design and customers.
